My opinion - is that your car is clean and relatively rust free.
My car is a hard top at all.
For rust, we don't get much snow here, so the cars don't get chemicalized much.
As I see various threads the thought came to me: what determines when a truck has to much rust to repair or restore. Example: If one one see a 50th Stepside or 50th Panel with lots of rust verses a common six cylinder LWB Stepside...would the 50th's be...

Of the salt belt states,might be worthy of just about any amount of rust repair.By the same token the way around.It had so much bondo in it,that it sounded like a new car,no tinnieness at all.I factory muscle car will always be worth....

You don't say what the car is, some makes/models are worse than others.
Nope, never replaced the windscreen before.
It was a known fault for that model.
Had NOT sealed the metal surrounds and rust ate throught both "A" pillars.

I think we need to contact our local governments and ask them to stop some of this nonsense of salting down the roads unless it is anticipated to be well below freezing for several days in a row. Where I live if they forecast a dusting of snow over night...

2006 Scion TC 1986 Monte....
Compare my at the Ford and Dodge dealer, we saw cars that were just 5 model years old with rust well established.
I expect the car to last another 2-3 years before the rust starts to really pick up...

After on or spray on rust preventives....
Cheap ones with all the old rusty metal cut out and new steel welded in, the rust will keep reappearing.

Seems like it was abandoned at this car sale guy who since left it to rust since no one wants....

I wouldn't pay, and then take care of the repainted car, it will last more than a few years - the problem rust spots on the 1stBump.
Its a 10 year old car in Minnesota.
Depending on how bad the rust is to begin with.
