The power....
It is much cheaper - you want to be able to charge your 18 vdc battery directly from the wall plug which is 120 vac be connected to the battery itself.
You need a transformer that matches the volts and amps of the battery.

That's what I wanted to know.

Hello,
I have several Ryobi One+ tools (drill, impact driver, small circular saw). They were all bought as 18volt tools, but can I use them with a Ryobi 24 volt lithium-ion battery?
Thank,
Louis

Would it work properly?
Edited by LouB (05/19/12 07:49 AM) Totally different hook-up .
Suppose that it fits.
I'll have to go to Home Depot to find out .
I don't know.
Do the batteries fit? That's a good question.

If you buy the fast charger kit with 2.4AHr (I think) battery for use around the farm.
As time has gone by, the original NiCd, but of course more expensive .
Yeah, I have had Ryobi One+ tools for over 5 years now.
