I have started day 1 of phase 1 after switching from Atkins. I of course have many questions.
As far as the desserts go the book only lists ricotta are there any others that are phase one friendly?
If I get up at 6 everyday is there a certain time I should...

Just ride it out.
Recommends that Atkins dieters move to p2 and skip p1, as Atkins has already done the work of p1 incorporating more good carbs.

I don't know that it looks like Atkins, more like a low-fat Atkins, and that's not really what SB is.
SB is very different.

Has Dr. Atkins had any say on the good vs bad carbs theory? Just curious as I'm reading about South Beach and it sounds like it may be a better WOE for me. In the past I've lost weight, kept it off, had much more energy and just felt better when eating...

Is anyone doing the low garb/Atkins diet? I've tried it several times and its great the first week, but after that I don't see the results like others claim. My weight just bounces up and down on the scale after a while, plus it gets boring when putting...

Re: Good Carbs Vs. Bad Carbs I was reading the SB book again yesterday and I am glad you like it.
But for me thinking about the phase two menu - I could just see by looking at it that eating that stuff would lead to trouble - I could not handle that much...
