I am looking for a working code snippet for Symbian S60 5th edition in which you can read SIM contact details.
If possible, I would skip using RPhoneBookSession , but if that is the only way, please provide code snippet how to use it.

The CContactDatabase API should synchronize with the SIM Phonebook seamlessly by using RPhoneBookSession so you don't than the CContactDatabase....
With the phone doesn't even allow you to save a contact on the SIM, Nokia may have removed all.

Hi Guys! Can you please help with how to access the sim contacts on s2.
Also I have double contacts in my contacts list. first I thought one is from sim and the other imported from sim to phone memory, but then when I open the contacts they all show up...

Is there anyway? i always want to save my contacts to sim cards because i often change a phone but i can only transfer contacts from sim to phone. regardless the messages i just want to save only the contacts. tnx!

Just open email and save contacts in that phone then copy to sim card I've / android phone.
To sim cards because i often change a phone but i can only transfer contacts from sim to phone nokia / android phone.

So this has been happening for about two weeks now and it's starting to really bug me! It just wont let me save any new contacts! I think when it first started it said "SIM card full" or something along those lines. I deleted some contacts from my sim...

The Dell/nova backup & restore failed to restore my contacts when I upgraded to 2.2 yesterday. I had also kept most on the sim card. I've tried twice to import them all and it appears to work but 'Contacts' continues to show "You don't have any contacts...

Hi...I backed up my sim on january 11...and got the confirmation sms from 53401...but none of the contacts are showing online....what am i doing wrong???

I was wondering if there is a way of importing contacts from iphone to my sim card? IOW: copy my iphone contacts to my new simcard?
There is only one option in settings that imports sim contacts to iphone...

This would be a reasonable alternative if your going to be using another smart phone of going about managing contacts....
If you have a google account you can sync you contacts with them and merge contacts.
About managing contacts.
