I use internet banking....
It also advicable not to keep to much money on that bank account that is involved in internet banking.
I receive an sms immediately and I can close up my bank account within a couple of minutes.

Weitere SMS kosten ein paar Tugriks.
Bei meiner VR-Bank um die Ecke sind meines Wissens 10 SMS pro Monat inclusive.
ING-Diba und comdirect verlangen keine Zusatzkosten pro SMS.

From Vodacom in SA, but not from any MTN number (including my bank (ABSA) who use MTN for sending me SMS notifications for online banking).
