I want to do NES/SNES emulation, and play the games on my HDTV. What's the best way to do this (details inside)?
I have a PS3, and AppleTV (just bought, so I guess version 2?). Can I use either of those to do the emulation without spending a week pulling...

Mod the Wii or Xbox for SNES the mega drive aswell....
As for SNES or N64, I say N64 doesn't have the guts to even run a SNES emulator well let alone N64 lol.
Enjoyed N64 in anything like the same way through emulation.

You plug this into a computer, you can connect your snes controller, you load an emulator + rom, and you can use your snes controller.

1. Why are MS/Sony so opposed to it? As I understand it, they actually lose money on their consoles, making it up on the games. If someone emulates their system on PC hardware, how do they lose? I mean, piracy is already a problem, right, so I can't think...

ngemu.com would be a better place to ask your emulation questions in the future emulation, but there is nothing they can do because its perfectly legal as long as copyrighted material an emulation community ....

I'm using the Sixaxis app to connect four PS3 controllers. I am using SuperGNES for SNES emulation.
Wondered if anyone had any success configuring and using four PS3 controllers (or Wii remotes) to play games like Super Bomberman or NHL 94?

Even PC emulators can't run in 3-4+ player.
IIRC, SNES had a max of 2 controller ports.
ICS and attempting to use any SNES emulator in conjunction with four Playstation 3 controllers problem.

On the SNES side some games may not work at all (SNES) and Skyrim (XBOX360) Buying....
Most have emulation issues on the NES side, the colors and sound may be a little "off".
Depends on the brand, but overall I would stay away from them .
