Submitted SOPHAS in December and have not gotten a confirmation e-mail from both of these schools. Anyone else in the same boat?

My application was mailed by SOPHAS on Dec 1 (a week ago), but I still haven't heard anything from Columbia admissions. Have you? Should I expect them to acknowledge that they received my application, or will they only contact people if something is missing...

But most schools DO send where to find out on sophas if a school has recieved my applications.
SOPHAS if everything is set on SOPHAS they got it apparently...

Hey all, I e-submitted a few applications on the last day of November for Dec. 1st deadlines, but nothing's been mailed out and my GPA is still being calculated. Does anyone have any insight on how it takes for SOPHAS to mail out the actual applications...

It just means that they have not yet calculated your SOPHAS GPA (most likely due to the high number of applicants....
After I paid my application fees, that's what it said for me until SOPHAS calculated my GPA.
And/or verified by SOPHAS yet.

I applied to George Washington and received and email from an admissions rep on 12/8/11 letting me know that my application has been received and will be forwarded to the adcom.
I emailed last week just to check in.. The rep. said some departments got...

GW received it Dec 22.
Hope you hear something soon! SOPHAS got sent Dec 8.
SOPHAS mailed my application on Dec 20 and GWU confirmed on Jan 9.
I applied for epidemiology and I got my acceptance on Tuesday .

My applications were just mailed to the schools on (1/24), but I'd like to apply to an additional school. I've already added the school designation and paid. Does anyone have any insight on how long it takes SOPHAS to get an additional batch ...

The above posters are right, they go out every that the additional designation would sit around... .
I believe the SOPHAS apps are mailed in monthly weekly batches....but I would double check) judging from my correspondence with the SOPHAS folks.

Of your application by SOPHAS or the submission of everything to SOPHAS? My application has not been be sitting in front of their admissions committee by that date , not just e-submitted to SOPHAS.

For those who applied to BU, what track did you apply to? When did you send in your application and when did you hear back?
I was told my application was sent for review on 11/30. Admissions also said I would either hear by the end of this week or early...

Around this time I completed my SOPHAS application and money constraints to submit my SOPHAS application without the resume attached.
Forward to the possibilities of a future at BU.
