You might consider using SQL Server Integration ....
Have you tried any hidden options from SQL Server Studio? They aren't directly convertible from one to the other; many aspects of SQL Server aren't supported in SQL Compact.
Hi, I'm just wondering what's the difference between a SQL database snapshot and a regular SQL database? Can someone out there would like to help me understand the difference between the two? Thanks in advance.

Any changes to the original database cause the version of the data when the snapshot was taken to get written to the file for knowing exactly what your database....
A snapshot is a read-only copy of another database, made at a point in time.

Well there shouldn't be any problem using Linq to SQL for your OR/M needs.
LINQ to Entities works just fine with many non-SQL-Server DBs.
LINQ != LINQ to SQL.

That being said advantages with Sql Server....
SQLite is lacking too many functions to even come close .
If your database is big enough that a free edition won't cut it, it's big enough a lot of what T-SQL does.

There is a Compatibility mode in SQL 2005 (probably 2008) that will let you run your 2k database own database format, and the format changes from version to version.

You create a .SQL script file....
