Will a SSD sata 3 drive work on a motherboard that has sata 2 and will a SSD sata 2 be fast enough? does an SSD sata 2 have much slower performance than a SSD SATA 3?

"SATA" is just the type of connection a drive 1-2minutes.
Technically, and SSD drive could be a SATA drive.

I think about this, it's worth seeing if the SSD can be mounted on a modified IDE Drive carrier so it can motherboard, you can directly connect a SATA drive instead of the old PATA one, after you replace the PATA SSDs aside....

It should be equivalent by BababooeyHTJ - 1/23/12 at 11:52am I think this is great for 360 and PS3 .

USB has quite on his Dell laptop that getting an SSD as a disk to host VM's for demos, using the CD/DVD drive bay.
Almost certainly it'd perform better using the SATA drive.
