I don't remember where, but I have seen in the past some people use safety harness when they work on a sloped roof.
Does anyone know how this is possible? does someone need to install something on the roof to make it happen?

There are other methods We use them all of the time, in addition to safety boards using 2" x 6"'s locked" that can be mounted on each side
I used my climbing gear harness & rope again
I'm 10' up the slope of the roof & 2 big 30x55 skylights....

I'm looking to purchase a 5pt Harness and prices for these things seem to run from $60 to $180, all with SFI rating.
$$ really isn't an issue on something like this but I don't want to spend extra for no reason.

I'm on a low budget here, but safety on a low budget here, but safety....
My plan is to eventually track the car.
Down now for higher hp rebuild]
so no harness , front cage or race seats
i extended it to a 6 point with any side impact.

If you have a car that runs 12.0 or slower and it has SFI belts can you just remove the date tag and run them? We run IHRA here, I've had this argument with the NHRA techs and they seem to think it's safer to remove the out of date SFI belts and pit in...
