Recently, I started shaving with a Gilette double ended safety razor from the early 1970's that my father had given me, using a badger hair brush and shaving soap. It actually requires a little skill to get a good shave and not get cut.

Personally, when someone describes a safety razor as being "light" requiring "a little more pressure than a normal safety razor" I immediately think doing that.

DE Razor for a straight razor shaver... I hope this is the right forum. I've been shaving with a straight for about 6 months now (dumped my cartridge razor in the bin and never looked back). I get a fairly clean shave and hardly ever any razor burn......

In the beginning was just a cylinder piece of Bronze
but later with a lot of work became
a spare razor handle for my DE safety razors.
