I was thinking about all of the ships I've sailed on that have changed ownership and now sail under a new name and then I did some research on ships I've been on that no longer even exist. Here goes...

Constitution - sunk.
Sitmar's Fairsea - scrapped.

Have sailed once on Regent (Gauguin), never on Oceania, but mostly on HAL (lately), Princess and Celebrity(before the mega ships).
The Gauguin was a disappointment because a large majority of the passengers were from one insurance company.

We would sail on Regent's Voyager or Mariner over Oceania's Marina.
We have not sailed on Oceania (intentionally) but would sail on the Marina rather than the Navigator.
With her sister ships.

Regent's included wines.... ....look to be far superior to Seabourn's. Travelcat2 has been posting live from their Regent cruise, similar to Seabourntraveller. The wine list is very interesting and appears to have far more choice and better wines than...

Lorraine W will be CD on our upcoming cruise.
He left the Navigator in very early September, went home for a few days and was joining the Mariner in mid September .
I'm pretty sure that Felice Patruno is on the Mariner .

This is more than a little sea mail on yet another Regent cruise from Venice to Rome. After all, 10 days are just too short....

Here is Norwegian Line's new ship Epic sailing out of New York Harbor today. The sheer size of this ship just scares me....stick with Regent I think! Apparently it is the largest ever passenger ship that has come into NY Harbor.
