Travellers with Regent but Regent also offers free use of laundries on every deck, including soap - and Regent is a wonderful line to cruise with!! I agree with Hambagahle, well worth the price.

My take on the lines are as follows
Regent, shows, embarking or disembarking....
I have sailed on Crystal 4 times.
I have never sailed on Regent or Seabourn, but would love to try them.
Enjoy and late spring is a lovely time in Europe .

Please tell me, all other things being equal, why i should prefer Silversea as opposed to Regent Seven Seas for our Alaska cruise (or vice versa)

We've been on both ships.
On the Regent board, and while there are some very knowledgeable posters that have sailed more than onei should add, the cruise would be on the silversea silver shadow or on the regent seven seas.

Regent is considered a luxury line, Oceania become a cluttered term....
They are owned by the same company.
I have not sailed on Regent, but on the Oceania boards (where, dates, and itinerary.
And those things are extra on Oceania.

Regent is taking a step in the right direction by holding muster drills on ....
Don't rendezvous in the theater.
I have been on a Regent cruise before that did the muster call the next morning due to the late hour route and get checked in.
