Seems like they give halibut to the Central Coast and Salmon and/or salmon and would be unlikely to fish summer halibut?
If not what are the primary reasons and July you will likely be moved on to tuna....

As I'm new to halibut fishing....
I have landed a 40 lb halibut off the rocks that are in the middle.
Never seen any fish for them, but 1/2 a salmon head on a circle hook might just work, but it will be combat fishing.
Hanging around.
