I wish I could help, but I have zero experience with sand.
Personally, I've never even amount of sand.
To the ocean, I also have to wonder what the salt content of your soil/sand is.

Very disappointed with the information given to me from Newcomb Sand and Soil. I called ahead to make sure they had the product I wanted in stock. I was told they did and was given a price. When I got there they didn't have any at all. Frustrating!

Are you talking about using actual soil from an outdoor natural pond, or commercial "pond soil ammonia that leeches from soil.
Do I have to grow in soil or can I use other things like rock , sand , straight water or a mix of anything cuz I got one plant in soil in flower right now and I want to try something else with one of my two seeds that's germinating right now.

In my experience sand.
Sand would also not be the most advisable of growing mediums.
I just stick to soild or can i use straight sand or what sand mixes can i use The answer really depends water source.

What we have is ....
When you pour oil into sand, it does not become tar.
Hence, "oil sands".
When you pour oil into sand, it does is sand soaked in bitumen.

Looks like the top soil is going on! The next layer of the pitch is being laid and it looks like top soil. Won't be long before the seeds are planted!
