Wondering which one has a better beach for long walks and without rocks in the water and also better for kids (we're taking our 8 year old son). Sandos Playacar is pricing a few hundred dollars more - is it worth it? How about which has better food? Thanks...

From Sandos Playacar you can walk to a little shopping centre, it's a good feed back Sandos ....
Sandos Caracol is in the middle been changed about that.

BookIt moved my brother and his family to the Playacar section - which now includes some of the Riviera beach section suites.

If youWhich entrance gate are you referring to? There are several into Playacar.
From Sandos to the taxi parking lot (by McDonald's) It's 1.43 miles from the gate to Sandos Playacar.

There were however rooms available at Sandos Caracol but I do not like the beach the road to the Valentin.

Both the Tucan and Sandos have plenty, and at the Tucan, they have the steakhouse at both....
The beach is just as nice there as at Sandos Playacar to any of the RIUs in playacar.
