Quote: : Sorry, but I'm all "ick" over that. No sanitizing or cleaning? You don't take the posts off of the keg and clean out the gunk in the poppets (a 5 minute job)? Sure, the beer is kept cold but that just makes me feel "yuck" about the beer in it...

Apologies for crossposting. I had put this on a linux/sql group before

If it is, you
can probably also use it instead of HeidiSQL .
If it is a suitable tool for you.

As I prepare to tackle the issue of input data filtering and sanitization, I'm curious whether there's a best (or most used) practice? Is it better to filter/sanitize the data (of HTML, JavaScript, etc.) before inserting the data into the database, or...

To display some HTML, using a heavy tool to validate/filter it, I'd say you need to store an already.

I am currently in a project with php frontend. We're pretty concerned about security, because we'll have quite a lot of users and are an attractive target for hackers. Our users are able to submit html formatted content that is visible to other users ...

Actually....
WordPress uses it, so I guess it’s pretty safe ;)
I can really recommend kses for HTML filtering .
You can easily specify which elements to allow and disallow, so making it ‘HTML5-aware’ would just be a matter of setting an array .
Kses works well.

As others here have suggested, the best way to clean your bottles is to not let them get dirty to begin with. Rinse them out after use so that at bottling time they will only need to be sanitized. On bottling day, my clean bottles just need a quick sanitizing...

Hope this....
I usually use this to fast wash the bottles with the sanitizing solution
and then leave the bottles upside down on this, plastic tool, good for 80 bottles
I'm much faster from the time I've bought those tools.
A few hours.

When I'm writing C - code I solely use an editor and gcc. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good and simple tool that will find unused variables, function declarations and possibly make some optimisations.
Does anybody know a good tool?

As Dan get a lot of mileage out of existing tools....
If you need optimization you could use gcc's -O switch .
;-)
Lint is the classic tool for checking style on C programs tools, some free, some commercial.
Use horrible algorithms.
