From everything that has been happening on that part of the trail I doubt if you get many takers on the same trail; if I were you I think I'd really consider just finding a local group to ride.

Hi, all,
Was thinking it would be nice to have a repository for tandem ride reports. (Sticky?) Some outings/events deserve their own threads, but I'd like to be able to check in on the regular tandem MTB action in a single location. And of course I would...

IMO not the best tandem trail, simply due to the
tightness ....
To this point the trail was relatively snakey, tight in spots,
and climbed somewhat.
We rode Ben's through junction 16 and 17
to junction 24 .
To junction 5, Ben's Trail.

Maybe have a stronger police presence on bikes that more isn't ... .
It's a damn shame the river trail can't be better policed.
I'll admit, I've seen on multiple times (especially in Santa Ana) cops cruise.
Of the trail.

There is the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) which is probably 40+ miles one way but it's very boring....
The Santa Ana River Trail does go quite a ways without any vehicle.
To find if you are not a local.
