On my x 250 model I'm thinking of installing a Camos Crankup Plus but reckon there's a good chance of water leaks as it will be fitted on a ribbed roof. I've discounted the Maxview crankup as I had one on my previous van and it looked awful when folded...

It is not only a matter of which satellites....
It's about receiving from satellites, and specifically from the Intelsat ones, 903 at 34.5 West, 805 an extremely large dish (above 5m) costing almost certainly 5 figures new with installation.

Yup easy - 2* 2 port disecq switches and dual or quad lnbs
Disecq 1 - cabled to living room
input 1 - 28E
input 2 - 13E
Disecq 2 - cabled to bedroom
input 1 - 28E
input 2 - 13E
You might want to install 4 port disecqs to allow for future expansion .

As there are several satellites, the receivers would be what actually
does the real work.
Direct, dish,
whatever.
