The point in a savings account is to SAVEPaypal actually has no idea whether or not an account is checking or savings.

Personal question. Feel free not to answer. Just curious after reading report that said the average American only has a paycheck and a half of money in their savings account. Not assets or 401k, just savings.

You transfer from Checking to Savings! Scotia for example, does not charge.
Transfering from checking to your TD savings account counts as 1 debit transaction.
