Ok , getting nervouse, going to cozumel next week and I looked at the weather and it looks like chance of showers all week. Are the showers in cozumel like those in florida , which pass fast and then the sun is back out or do they linger all day.?

Can't see from weather.com does not say 9....
Snow in Cozumel then a snow storm in Canada right now the beach looks good under the rain....
Hopefully flight is not cancelled.
Just have fun!!!! Leaving for Cozumel tomorrow morning.

On a package holiday from the UK, how long is the transfer from Cancun airport to Cozumel . If we arrived at Cancun at about 4 O´Clock in the afternoon, what time could we expect to arrive in Cozumel. Thank you.

Check Mayaair.com....it is flight from CUN to CZM $58 per person... .
I did not feel it was worth prefer Cozumel for the Sunsets, which you dont get on the mainland.

Just a thought, otherwise the Cozumel Palace is excellent per all of the posts, reviews, ....
Another drinking, might not be that much of a miss .
IMO the only AI on Cozumel with great food is Cozumel Palace and it has a manmade beach.

It's arguebly the world, and Cozumel is one of my favourite....
Scuba divers generally stay in hotels south (much crazier) all the way to Belize (and everywhere in between...including Cozumel).
A lot depends on what you plan to do in Cozumel.

It is being reported that Cozumels mayor has reacted quickly to refute that Cozumel is an unsafe place for tourism, after the name of the town appeared on the public list issued by Mexicos Federal Government, along with Cancun , calling these destinations...

Destinations and we never once even felt uncomfortable in Cozumel...can not say that about all be specified for the inclusion of Cozumel as an unsafe place for tourism.

I used TripAdvisor's flight finder (along with Kayak) to find a flight to Cozumel, and the best price that the searches found for a flight that I wanted was from CheapOAir. I clicked on the link to go to CheapOAir, filled in everything, and hit Book Now...

Any recommendations for a good car rental company in Cozumel? Are there locations within walking distance of the pier or would I have to taxi into town? We will be on Carnival later in January and arriving at the Maya pier, I believe. Thanks.
