I would say that the housework is harder work than ironing, so 14 per hour would it as a nixer it'd defo be....

Normally you'd hold it with topstitching, so negating the need to ....
I iron on the reverse with a cool iron and keep the iron moving so as not to mark or melt it.
I iron pvc tablecloth all the time, which is a similar thing.
