Is it rude for someone to say, "I heard you have some exciting news!!?" when you are NOT being public yet about your pregnancy?
We have told very close friends and family ( someone obviously has a big mouth... but I know news travels)... but this morning...

Is saying "what" rude? People ask me stuff, and I can't hear..and I say "what?" Then they look at me like, "wtf is your problem?" I don't mean it in a rude way, that's just what I naturally say..and the fact my hearing sucks.

I'm not gonna lie, if people say "What?" or "Huh?" I find it quite rude! Being raised say, "I'm sorry, I didn't quite hear you," or "I beg your pardon, what did you say?" or some other it's ok but if not just ask....

In fact, at most of the weddings I have been, etc and give them some goody bags with candy so they wont feel left out :) It is not rude to specify way its not rude at allll.
