Scary Movie

So, lately, I've been into scary movies more and more. Zombie movies and stories are starting to become favorites of mine lately. Does anyone have any suggestions for good, scary movies to watch? Saw Dawn of the Dead a while back and we may get another scary movie for Valentines Day, so I want ideas. source

I hate seeing women victimized on screen, which seems to happen a lot in scary movies. I think it encourages violence against women in "real" life. source

A mixture of disturbing and shock, but more disturbing as it brings you into the film. Shock tactics are fine and dandy but when I've got no connection to the film I barely notice them. source

I went through a phase of being pretty terrified by Spontaneous Human Combustion. Even in my most skeptical moments I couldn't deny that it did happen. It seemed so random, and so inescapable that I couldn't come up with any good reasons why it couldn't happen to me. I used to lie in bed unable to sleep because the fact that part of my body was warmer than the rest of me meant I might be about to burst into flames. source

I wouldn't say it was really that scary, but it was certainly an interesting movie imo. They sure banked off it too compared to how much it cost to produce! source
