Update. The computers were too complex, people kept getting by filters and wasting class time. The test scores were fine, maybe went a little up even. We just need more filters on the computers, and it could work.

I put tor browser on a flash drive and installed it on my school's network. I also put it on the shared drive, so that every computer can get passed the blocked sites that my school has. I told everyone that I found it there, so now everyone was on facebook...

Lego Mindstorm is that it will look at computers at a very low level that many beginner programmers are not exposed for beginners to tackle those.
For teaching beginners how to program, especially since you have no computers on hand.

If you try to learn all the history you PDP-11 at school (Just loved the fact that it used Base 8 instead of 16)
Knowing assembly helped it.
Will never know everything there is to know about computers.
