You mean than high school hours? Yes a lot count on 2/3 hours of homework per credit hour.
An additional 2-3 hours extra doing research and studying.

Does this seem normal?
Did the city I live in not get the memo that I am not a morning person. Holy crap!
On the plus side this does seem like prime time for DH to drop a kid off on his way to work.

All of the schools in the area had different start/end hours because they all shared buses, so HS would be the earliest to start/end and elementary school and our hours....
We had the same high school hours.

I only have about 300 hours of experience, animal and vet combined, and most of it in a small animal clinic (other at a shelter and at an equine clinic).
Ive seen that to enter into a US vet school a lot of the students have thousands of hours of experience...

Generally, unless the school has an open campus, it is against regulations, if not necessarily, the school is responsible because you ARE supposed to be in school.

One thing that really bugs me about our super-connected world is that the work day seems to never end. Maybe it's better in America or Europe, but in China, my parents go to work at 8 AM and come back at 8 PM, and they're still constantly taking calls...
