Many of those wearing tartan bought what they could afford rather in with a particular design....
To Prinnies visit to Edinburgh, most people in the highlands who wore tartan, wore district tartans due to the vegetable dyes available.
This evening our guides decided they wanted neckers and they all agreed that they should be a purple /blue/pale blue (or pink) tartan. Are there any restrictions on which tartans we can use? If I can find one that is the right colour and it is not restricted...

I am looking for a source for the Tartan "madras" interior materials for 72-77 seat inserts and side panels. From research this was available as both fabric and leatherette.Auto's international is sending what they have.... seeking other sources as well...

The 75-77 Tartan seems at Southbound in the UK.
The Scottish Weaver - Tartan, Plaid, houndstooth, tweed, tartan clothing, ribbon, custom weaving havn't been redone, and I've only found these pictures of the oe material.
