I prefer the Duncan Hines 18 oz Moist Delux box .
I don't know how to make cupcakes from scratch but I always buy the cake box at the supermarket.
Burned pans have made me this way.

Alright, ladies (and guys, I guess)...what do y'all think of these "skinny cakes"? I'm seeing them all over pinterest, these recipes where you replace just about everything a boxed cake/brownie mix recipe calls for with a diet soda. Anybody tried these...

I've never actually had Betty Crocker brownies box anything myself, as I prefer "from scratch" as well, but I'm thinking I may just try these next in the microwave.
cake fix, they would probably fit the bill.

I started making cakes last year. I found I really enjoyed the decorating aspect, especially modeling chocolate. I found I might have a real talent for it (lots to learn and practice though) but I am not an enthusiastic or...

I would encourage you to continue... .
King Arthur makes a fabulous chocolate cake mix.
And you can use box mixes for the cakes.
Need to look out for.

Cake experts, bit of advice please.... DD's 5th birthday is around the corner and she wants a rainbow loveheart cake. I got a heart shaped caketin from a friend and I'm going to make the rainbow layered thing. Anything I should know about using a loveheart...

I will be attending the miller demo friday but looking at some 200g cake videos now online, I am looking at Power Edge, Pretty Killer and Shattered Rainbow?? Are they as good as the videos if now anyone know of other good ones for 2012? Even tho ill see...

Citrus Surprise was decent..

It is really hard to get a good scratch cake when you are baking in large batches like a bakery getting a moist flavorful cake from scratch even baking for my family at home, I prefer cake mixes for the reply to my post....
