I have a problem with the new channel guide that at least one person in my area shares. The guide is projected wider than the TV picture, so information I care about (Channel name and number, for instance) is off screen.

Usually I end up with a frozen screen, possibly because of some random key I pressed after ^A :-)
In those cases I try
^A s and ^A q block/unblock terminal scrolling

Is in for some surprises, since ^A is the screen command key binding.

I can't seem to figure out how to add recordings that are several days out when using the Guide. I can manually search for the program titles and choose that way, but is there a way to jump ahead say 24 or 48 hours and then use the Guide to select shows...

Press the ENTER (ZOOM) button in the lower right handkschrader - When the guide is displayed, press the enter button (bottom right) to get a drop down menu to jump to a specific day.

I set a reminder for a program not realizing it would put a number reminder all the way up on the main screen of my iphone (which, sadly, ISN'T done for the one option for which I need it the most - voicemail!). Anyway, I don't want that reminder notification...
