When i turned the tv on i can get the sound but the screen stays black? I have 42" techwood tv 2 years old. I turned it on and i can get the sound but the tv screen stays black no picture on any side just sound on all channels any idea what the problem...

HI,
I have turned on my macbook pro (2009, 15 inch) this morning at after I got to the rEFIt boot menu and selected OS 10 (snow leopard), my screen turned black. I waited and then turned the computer off by pressing the power button for a few seconds....

Hey there!
I just received my brand new W500 with the 1900 resolution display. 1 minute after the first system boot the screen turned black but the backlight still seems to work. The system is not hybernating it is fully working.

Hi,
my macbook pro (2,16 GHz, OSX 10.4.11) doesn't boot anymore.

I'm wondering if any one can help.
I have just had Sky+ HD installed and ever since then I'm having problems.
Every 30 - 40 minutes the screen goes black for 5 seconds but the sound stays. Thia happens whether your watching live tv or a pre recorded programme...

In bois, it reads the sandisk as a usb hdd, so i set to boot from that but it just stays on a black the flashing dash in the upper corner of a black screen points to an unbootable drive.
