Alright, so here is my question. I have found by using Google (Hurray, GIYF) that I can disable the iPhone going to sleep in an application by using:
application.idleTimerDisabled = YES;
so the code looks like this:

That secret menu ago as when i done the software upgrade on the nav unit i am sure the screen went darker so that may help, but will be changing my screen soon for the later touch screen unit.

Has anyone been having this problem, whenever I return from hibernation in windows 7 my computer looks very dim, then after a restart everything looks amazing any ideas what is going on here ?

I loaded up the RC version on there for you .
Alternatively you can configure Windows Mobility Center to not lower your screen.
And plug it back in.

You can turn off "auto-brightness" settings in Display the issue that the brightness value does....
If you dim the lights in your room or around your iMac - you should see that the screen brightness is reduced too.
