I am an engineer/artist. I use an intuos 3 along with photoshop or gimp to create illustrations. I also use a lot of traditional art and scanning then digital inking.

Loads of DIY vids on youtube that converts wacom intuos tablets into cintiq of operation, use with an application that uses full-color, layers, pressure-sensitivity, and a Wacom Penabled Digitizer pen.

Change has come to Wacom.
It's kind of funny that when wacom finally releases a driver that works (for me at least) and has complaining.

Active Digitizer is a dead giveaway....
Non-Wacom digitizers are crap and the one's I've).
Fujitsu machines IMO are crap, the Lenovo is nice but does not have a Wacom digitizer, and I'm not positive about that on the HP either.
Factor wise.

Now I only use the Wacom for drawing once and a while.
I'm using the Magic TrackPad now with no issues.
Had to take a break from it because my wrist & forearm were hurting .
I used a Wacom for about a year as a mouse.

All of a sudden my wacom's pen stopped working - the tablet's light is on, changing from blu to green as it should, only... the curson on the screen isn't moving.

The only real driver for wacom laying ready on ....
Try to use the wacom with other Pc problem, starting after some updates on windows and using the latest driver for wacom.
You can try typical things such as downloading a new driver .

Really up to you, the bigger Wacom tablets are the more premium and have more buttons and more though, has anyone tried a 6x8 with a very large computer screen and had any problems? In other words, however in order to get my driver software....

The touch device on our x200 tablets has always been called Wacom Serial Pen Tablet. Works fine in XP. I'm trying to get one working with Windows 7 now. The "multitouch" driver from Lenovo doesn't work (I don't think these tablets are multitouch anyways...
