Anyway, I finished the painting (or it finished me painting.
The lighter side, especially with the deeper tones of blue .
Not a good idea all the way around.
And then painting the birds on top of it.
I call this... cherry blossoms under water. I JUST started painting and have no artistic talent whatsoever but its fun:)

Second attempt at light painting! So after finally being slapped with a £60 fine for my euro look plates I went out and had another little play with the camera, again the car could be cleaner and i still need a bit of work on my photography/lighting skills...

I am a somewhat beginner painter. Is is better to paint from a photo or from another already done painting? Also, since my drawing skills are just average, what is your opinion about using a grid to get the drawing on the canvas? Thanks

The nice thing about paint is that you can make changes and corrections by just painting over what and painting as two....
For sketching from a photo or a painting.
There's no problem with gridding.

With a long enough pole you can face paint corner trim from the ground most of the time.

painting a wallI also understand 2 coat jobs are better than 1 coat- regardless of paint coverage claims.
