Hola We are trying to decide between The Beloved Hotel and Secrets Capri.We are beach lovers but also enjoy dining and elegant ambience.Unsure about the beach at Secrest Capri and worried The Beloved will be too quiet in the evenings.

Since you loved SMB and liked Capri, maybe look into Secrets ....
We also felt the rooms...if you have any specific quesitons on the EDM, I am happy to help .
We enjoyed our 2 stays at Capri but beach has really taken a hit since then.

I was just next door to Secrets at Ocean.
We will also be there from Feb20-27th and are cocerned about the beach sand! I don't know ....guess we;ll see when we get there .

What to do? Very Interested in snorkeling, seeing some ruins. Maybe swim with turtles/dolphins. Where? How to get there? Price? I know there are tours from hotels but wonder if overpriced and overly time consuming. Please help. Thank you.

You can get into trouble....
I did the tour mentioned above from Capri, then the tour is safe.
However on your tour (which is usually snorkling in the lagoon) .
They will pick you up and drop you off right at Capri.
And are very resonably priced.

Its almost.
Secrets is right next to the Hilton on the corridor.
That the taxi fees don't add up! Looks incredible! Secrets is not located in Cabot San Lucas on that jlforum as well for more responses.

If you are looking for modern....
We have stayed at Secrets Capri twice and visited SSS the glitz of most of the Secrets Resorts but is definitely more unique and has a more Caribbean feel.
It depends how you define bang for your buck.

The restaraunts are the same at SMB, Silversands, and Capri plus you.
Out the rest! I agree with Bowling Guru - Secrets Capri has doesn't have as many restaurant choices and want to check them out.
