Might also be phyllosilicate material, perhaps serpentine and/or talc.
Might be oxides.

All of a sudden I have several repairs to make and there s a random squeelong noise coming from the front of the engine.
At first i thought it was the belts so i replaced them and since i was replacing the expansion tank i figured i'll do the water pump...
