Is it good, bad, or indifferent to run SQL Server on your webserver? I'm using Server 2008 and SQL Server 2005, but I don't think that matters to this question.

When you have your database server running on the web server, if your web server is compromised memory.....
That way you'll save is good.
Say it was best to run them on the same server until it becomes a problem.
My end users are not able to use autocomplete when they use a web application hosted on a particular server. Autocomplete is usually a client-side setting. My users can use autocomplete when they are on other websites so I think it is a server setting...

Have you looked at web pages/web applications that you are serving to check .
It's possible that the app might use something that's disabled on the server, I suppose from the server side.

This is OleDB provider and Database Bug 5043675: Setting up a linked server works fine to read data, then SQL Server must do a remote scan on the table, which basically retrieves the data and has to one-by-one delete each row.
