EC has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much to all of eastern ontario at about 10:45 am this morning. This includes the city of Ottawa. They are also suggesting these storms may be very severe as there is a risk a tornado with them. EC does not...

On their current conditions as the storms approach their areas and if the severe thunderstorm watch of these thunderstorms are likely to be severe with wind gusts to 90 km/h, 2 cm hail and brief heavy downpours.

I'm such a chicken, but there are tornado watches (and warnings that have expired) all around us and it is creeping me out! I'm not even in my own house - watching my cousins' son while they are out of town. Kind of puts a damper on my night! Anyone else...
