you can hand sew a quilt but i don't recommend it
making a quilt and then passed them around.

I have not managed to master free motion quilting, can anyone give me an idea where to start. I have even tried drinking a glass of wine, but managed to drink the bottle. I have a brother innovis 1200 sewing machine. I am getting an expert at hand quilting...

There's a nice piece in Philippa Naylor's 'Quilting in the Limelight' if you can get hold of a copy.

Well, I'm home and I had a fabulous day! I learnt quilting with the walking foot and then we did quilting thread, so I had to use normal sewing thread.
