Wondering what the best type of needle and thread to use when sewing with paper on a machine? I would appreciate some thoughts and ideas from people who have used this technique.

Promise! I bought the janome sew mini just to sew on cards...the standard needle it comes a whole video series on sewing on cards (youtube) Thank you all so much for the great suggestions.

I will be turning this room into my home dec sewing area. Any ideas how I should design this?
I have that big table in the center and then a fold up table on the front right from JoAnn's that I use to extend the length of that table when needed for cutting...

I like these things and my sewing area is in basement, maybe roughly the same size space, but not finished, all you need is plenty of light and....
Bulletin board to pin things up on and lots of shelving for fabrics and other sewing sundries.

A good idea would be to make a sewing needle ball sponge, with a detachable wrist strap.
