Soooo, I'm a little freaked out. I just found out about this.
A guy that DH works with is on the registry. I'm friends with his wife, we've all hung out socially. We've been to their house and vice versa... my son has played with their son and everything...

The whole registry needs a complete overhaul I check it about once every 6 months for updates.

We check at least once or twice a year to make sure that we don't have anyone close by. I did discover today that someone has moved in next to my ex husband and his offense was against a child. Very scary.

This is keep in mind that the sex offender registry puts on EVERYONE who may or not be found "guilty helped clarify that it indeed *was* my house.

We did ours a few weeks ago...
Usually people start their registry after they find out the sex of the baby and if not after 18 weeks.
You can go on there now and add some stuff you like.. .

I've never heard of this before this year. I don't think anyone I know has ever set up a baby registry.
Is anyone thinking of not doing one (with their first)? I'm just not sure on this one.
