I did do two batches....
ETA: after having another look at the tails I think the bottom one is a duck duck was sitting.
First one is a drake - the second one I want to say duck but it's legs look abit thick so am leaning to another drake.

I walk by a pond everyday, and this year in Febuary I noticed ducks were having babies earlier than usual. I also noticed as the ducklings got older that they were all female. No males in any of the three sets of ducklings born. Has anyone noticed this...

How did you determine the sex of the ducklings? ducks feathers are virtualy the same whether male or female until they start reaching sexual maturity.

My neighbor has a large group of aylesbury ducks, thing is he has got it a bit wrong with 2 girls and 5 drakes as you can imagine the girls are having a hard time and are now in poor condition
one of the girls is well, a bit more inteligent than the other...

I'd suggest waiting for them to be fully feathered so you can then see what they are sex wise - males and females are different colours, you can sex them the same way you do for a rabbit but not easy if you haven't done it before, also fiddly....
