That's cool, but I never needed to shadow, but I never needed to ....
I somehow started shadowing a physician in the ICU, it's an easy way to get a great LOR from a physician.

You'd be better off shadowing doctors (and you'll need to shadow doctors), but a chiropractor could school to be physician, so why not shadow a physician? It's not like they're hard to find.
Currently i am enrolled in a Physician Assistant / Pre-Med program. I have to decided by the end of next semester which one to specifically pursue because the classes start to become different. I cannot decide which one to become. There is no doubt that...

While being a physician may be more intrusive of your home worked with many PAs and NPs over the years, however a physician has a much greater depth of education 12 hour shifts a week.
Personal soul searching on this one.

shadowing a few podiatry residents by mistake, but it turned out to be my most memorable shadow.
Is it so that if you have no chance at medical school (abysmal GPA, etc) to begin with they are more likely to reject you as a shadowing candidate?

Then again I've never had any formal shadowing.
Never been asked for it.
