Yep, look into a sharks mouth, looks like ribs (if you will), but they are really cartilage weight and takes up to 90% of the space inside a shark’s body cavity.

These fish are not closely related to sharks , which are in a different class, but they do have some body parts that resemble those of sharks such as their skeletons, primarily composed of cartilage, and deeply forked heterocercal tail fins.

My first chow had arthritis. This was before the days of rymadyl, duramax & other canine medicines. I was able to keep her comfortable with acupuncture, shark cartilage, and other chinese herbs.
Now, my current dog is showing signs of arthritis again....

And for inflammation, there are different herbals that can be tried as well too! For any dog on anti-inflammatories... .
To the forum
The anti-inflammatories may help with some of the inflammation, but, IMO, they don't help as well as the joint supplements .

Ranjithvnambiar, as your photo's and words shown above describe, it is indeed a fight in the element of the croc and not the shark! But, there also seems to be about a three or four to one weight ratio also existing in the croc's favor!
