Fraser's Original Shave Cream.
I'm using Bay-Rum Shaving soap
It feels then I suggest J.M.

WHen I'm in a rush I have.
Pre shave is zirh, and aftershave is L'Occitane as well.
I prefer soaps and pre-shave oils from "The Art of Shaving", especially shaving soap.
But nobody had an answer....

I recently purchased Mama Bear Lime Ice and Ye Olde Barber Shoppe Shaving Soaps, and really love them both. While I have never really been fan of non-tallow soaps, these load very easily and bowl or face lather like a champ. The lather is also very slick...

Some others burn just a little it is not a soap, AOS Sandalwood....
I love my Mama Bear soaps, and even though it is not a soap, AOS Sandalwood shave cream.
I'll find out about Italian soft soap next week when I try my Cella.

I've never made a shave ....
It's worth, the stearic amount in my shave soap is 20% which provides a goodly amount of creamy/stable lather, which you want in a shaving soap, as opposed to too much fluffy/bubbly lather.

I only recently started using scented soaps. Before I used unscented or mild sandalwood.
I also like to change my soaps daily. At the end of my shaave I rinse my brush really well in warm water. I find there is enough scent the next morning to interfere...

Soaps and creams are the pleasure of shaving soaps smell or if it just smells like soap in general, you know, it just has that clean scent.
The pleasing amalgam of scents my brushes acquire.
