Case in the shaft to hold it together....
When I got a new shift cable set, I replaced the original bushings with boogers.
Then you'll need someone to rebuild the trans or get another one at the junkyard .
The internal shift forks and synchros.

Sure freakin did!!!
the entire cable to expand and release moving with the cable as you shift, by doing that your restricting.
Will last until i shift into any other gear, then i lose it again....

Hi all,
Just sharing with you a few things I am working on right now to try to tighten up the feel of the 944 shifting mechanism. I "fixed" the stock pin and that was a significant improvement over the worn egg-shaped shifter pin but the rest of the system...

Ttt TTT TTT drop 70$ for linkage and 75$ for dp ....
75$ is a good deal for good b series linkage w/ gsr dual bend.
There is another one Part the dual bend? Nah.
You will not find eg/dc b series linkage with gsr dual bend for cheaper.
