Lets talk shock collars? i have a 8 lb mutt that needs a shock collar im thinking about the Super Pro Elite training collar . it is great collar but cost 399$$ . thats a lot of ching ching for a collar but it should give a nice little jolt. what is your...

I'm not only 'not a fan' of shock collars, I hate them.
Your 8lb mutt doesn't need a shock collar, she needs persistent training.

Those who have used them -- any tips? We have a horse chasing thing going on here that I want to nip in the bud.
Any recommendations of brand? Amazon seems to have some good prices:

We had the wireless perimeter collars-our JRT would be jumping up and down when we went to put on the beep....
I found the bark shock collars worked better because he the collar.
Of range too fast before I could shock him.

There is currently an e-petition to ban shock collars if anyone would like to sign it. There are several on the government e-petitions site but this one seems to be getting the most attention. It's being posted on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin

By the shock collars when they are on the hunt with their dogs since they can't use a physical leashes a trainer can use a shock collar without detriment to the right dog.

I'm currently looking for a good set of shock collars. I would prefer to have at least three collars for the unit, and a 1/2 mile range. If anyone has any that they are interested in selling please shoot me a PM.
