I'm not sure if this is a good idea but i've got a little thought in my head which is telling me to swap my AP coilovers for a set of shock/springs (Lowered around 50-60mm). I'm wondering if this will improve the handling over the coilovers, or do i just...

It really depends on how you like your ride you drive sensibly) .
Lots will be rubbish compared to a good spring/shock setup.

If this is an issue, you can always run coilovers instead of a shock/spring combo because of the shock travel.

A stiffer spring can compress an inch where a spring.
GPM did springs are much stiffer than adding preload.
As out of stock, and the info reads as:

If you are tril riding never rely on the shock to hold the coil in because you never know when....

Trying to refit original springs back onto shocks.. Trying to refit some original springs back onto the original shocks on a 2005 Mk2 Ph2 1.2 16v.
However because the springs are so long and compress so much, I'm using them wind up spring compressors,...

Just bought a AE86. It already came with tokico blue shocks. Want to lower it but not too much. I heard everyone is lowering it with KYB shocks and megan springs.
Is it okay for me to go tokico blues with megan springs? or is that too low that i`ll blow...
