You need to give an absolute path when making the symlink
and you need to give the path... .
Can you give us some more details - like what operating system, what version of shoes, how you installed shoes, where you installed shoes etc.

I always prefer wearing white shoes. I just seem to like them better than black for some reason out on the course. I'm currently wearing the Nike Lunar Controls (white) but looking forward for the Nike Free's to come out.

I went out and bought a pair of the Musiques, by nike, and also a pair of new running shoes....thoroughly impressed with BOTH!!!
The running shoes are white, and very comfy, and have the best arch support Nike has to offer, in addition to super strong...
