Has anyone ever had a pinched nerve in the shoulder blade or know someone who has experienced this? The agonizing pain shoots down my left arm and my fingers have a numbing, tingling feeling.
Any advice on relieving the pain would be deeply appreciated...

I thought I was having a heart one....I mean, a GOOD one .
That I had neck pain, shoulder blade pain and numbness from elbow into my fingers - my pinky finger nerve in my shoulder/neck area with the same symptoms as you describe.

So yea - everytime I do body weight dips for chest (not the bench ones for tri's) my shoulders feel like they're being sliced open. it hurts like hell and I end up quitting after like 2 sets cause its unbearable.
any advice outside of "dont be a pussy...

Read up on the shoulder threads, there's a ton on this site, most of them lead you to T-nation's articles on shoulder savers....
I dont really have any history of shoulder/rotator cuff problems in a while.
Delt and traps a little bit.

This is just amazing to read all of these posts. I've had this pain for years and I've struggled to explain it to anyone because no one else I know gets it. And because they don't get it they don't realise how bad it is! I feel it all through my shoulder...
