I'm looking for a good used metal shoulder plane or a kit to build one. I see there is a company in England that has a kit for a small shoulder plane, but I don't think there are any available.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks,
Chris

I understand your interest in making one.
You might want to try the LV large plane if you are thinking of going with a Stanley.
LV makes a great shoulder plane, I have the medium and love it.
Impressed.

Well, glad I could help.
I just figured it got in upside-down by mistake for the photo-op. I've hastily put a plane together and only later realized that I put the darn iron in upside-down.
