As a full-time student starting graduate school, I don't have much income, and I notice that only other students are showing up as potential matches. I know that studies show matches between similar income levels work best, but I bet students are an exception...

As I understand from reading the FAQ on Income Calculation, if you don't build any troops and do not move any citizens into the mill or resource area, then your income in each city should do nothing but increase, right??

They will not add anything more and need based grants did not exceed tuition... .
The total in line 1 should be the total income of $7,000 ($5,000 income plus $2,000 scholarship to $7,000 so you are showing that $2000 is from scholarships.
